1. Visit a Tea Factory

You can't come here without seeing how Ceylon Tea is made.

• Damro Labookellie: One of the oldest and most famous. Free tours and a great cafe.
• Pedro Tea Estate: closer to town, offers a scenic walk through the bushes.

2. Gregory Lake

A man-made lake in the center of town.

• Activity: Rent a swan boat or a jet ski. It's a favorite spot for local families picnicking.

3. Horton Plains & World's End

A national park located on a high plateau (2,000m).

• The Hike: A 9km loop leading to "World's End"—a sheer cliff with a 1,200m drop.
• Tip: Go EARLY (reach entrance by 6 AM) to see the view before the mist rolls in at 10 AM.

4. High Tea at The Grand Hotel

Step back in time at this historic hotel.

• Experience: Dress up and enjoy scones, sandwiches, and premium tea on the manicured lawn.

5. Waterfalls

The route to Nuwara Eliya is lined with massive waterfalls.
